Kurdish, the forgotten country

The Kurdish men that I have the honour to call friends always talk about Kurdistan as a promised land, almosts like a dream, like a fantasy place where keep safe the desire of happiness and peace. They say: "we have no friends but the mountains". It's their kinder way to say that they only have enemies. Hundreds of years of tortures and executions, years without any kind of freedom. Iran, Turkey, Iraq, Syria commits crimes each day, massive killings on villages. The strengh of this people avoid the erradication of a whole race, a whole country. Nobody cares until the USA finds some personal interests on it. But right now the female population stay and men scape to Europe trying to find a better tomorrow. Some never could see their families back again, they're become political refugies, illegal inmigrants on Spain, France, Italy. Broken families separated trought the years. They are all alone.
